What the plan is for

Your plan turns business context into a sequence of useful articles. It should help you answer “Why is this worth publishing?” before a draft starts. A topic can address a buyer’s question, explain a practical problem, or help someone evaluate where your product fits.

The plan keeps a rolling window of 30 distinct article topics across the next 30 days. As calendar days pass, fresh qualified topics can join the far end. Past work remains in your history. The plan is an operating queue, not a promise of search traffic or a requirement to publish daily.

Evaluate the reason behind a topic

Open Plan and review the proposed work. Look first at its audience, purpose, and rationale; open the supporting evidence when you need more detail. Ask three questions:

  1. Does this belong to our business? It should connect to something you actually offer or understand.
  2. What will the reader be able to do? Prefer a clear decision or task over a broad, generic subject.
  3. Do we already answer this? Consider existing pages before adding another article with the same purpose.

Example: studio booking software

“Booking software” is a broad subject. “How to set a fair cancellation policy for a small yoga studio” has a clearer reader and task. It can lead naturally to a relevant product capability without turning the whole article into a sales pitch.

Some reasoning comes from your site and confirmed profile; some comes from available search evidence. A plausible strategic inference is different from a measured query or a customer interview. Treat the explanation accordingly.

Approve and adjust the work

Review the proposed direction before approving it. You can change a working title, move timing within the plan window, add implementation or drafting direction, or dismiss an unsuitable item. Founder edits and approved work are preserved through later analysis and data refreshes.

Keep direction specific: “Compare approaches for a studio with one location; include our experience with late cancellations” is more useful than “make this better.” If your product or audience has changed materially, also update Brand & site.

Choose how drafts are prepared

You can start appropriate approved work on demand. With Prepare scheduled drafts automatically enabled in Brand & site, draft autopilot prepares due, approved create-page work, up to one article per day. It does not publish, apply site edits, or prepare every pending action immediately.

A plan date indicates when work is due for preparation. A WordPress publication date is a separate choice made during the publishing handoff.

Approval has two checkpoints. Approving the plan authorizes preparation. You still review the result and choose the publishing action.

PlannedReview the direction and timing; preparation may still need approval.
PreparingResearch and drafting are running. Let the current work finish.

If a refresh cannot find enough safe new topics, the app retains the last healthy plan and reports the delay. Read troubleshooting instead of repeatedly restarting analysis. Next, review your first draft.
